Disease Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 I have noticed that when the computers go to sleep or into screensaver mode it can take 7 or 8 seconds for the logon box to show, now this only happens on the curriculm network, the admin network is instant. It is a full XP network with Vanillia 2003. Any idea what might be causing it. Thanks Ian

Are you using roaming or mandatory profiles? Maybe check the key in registry that does Power Configigurattion on your network profile: HKEY_USERS\"YourProfileName"\Control Panel\PowerCfg\PowerPolicies 1
