I'm trying to set up some standalone installations of Serco around the place but I don't have any training data. (Our existing MIS data hasn't been migrated yet.) I called tech support and was told that they don't have, and can't supply, training data - even though the trainer at a recent session seemed to expect us to have it already.

Any thoughts? Or better still, any Access databases...?!

Do you have a Serco support site log on? I thought I saw training manual and databases available for download. Pm me if you are really stuck.

Hi,

If your data hasn't been transfered yet, we install demo data at the install stage. If you need the data before, speak to your implementation manager. Everything else or anything else, PM me and we'll sort it out.

As has been said if you have a FirstLine logon you can access the training manuals and data on there and download and import into your local install of Facility. I am really pleased they have made that move and I told them so the other week when I was on a course in Derby as it means that I can run the Foundation Course and dip in and out of bits of them all to give staff some training as needed without them getting excessive training and also reduces costs :)

Thanks for the comments. I just got an email from Tech Support saying "You would need to go to downloads | training | system administration and there is a zip file with the DB in", but I don't see it on the Firstline website. I don't even see that heading.
