Anyone using SCL PCs in IT suites?

 

Are you happy with them?

 

Prices seem favourable compared to our LEA Dells. Though it doesn't say on the website if they come with an O/S or not?

Yes, have a suite full of them at one of my schools. Had a small issue which SCL were excellent in dealing with, providing me with more support than I'd have expected from any supplier, even the big names. Very good performing PC's (not sure which model they are off hand although are C2D based) and look pretty nifty too.

All our ICT rooms are fitted with SCL sahara PCs.

 

We have and a few Little problems but SCL have fantastic after sales support.

 

i would recommend them.

Using one as my office pc, have nothing but praise for it and SCL support.

 

P.S My sahara didn't come with a operating system

They price hardware only - you would need to get the OS added separately, even if you have a microsoft agreement (I think the only exception is if you have a retail version of the OS and are transferring it, or buying a retail version yourself, though correct me if i'm wrong).

Yes, ours are still running just fine, as are the two servers we got off SCL too.
