  1. Would the cards come with the pre-programed number or is that something that can be added\modified?
  2. Also how do you go about programming the cards? Am i right in saying the card only stores a unique string or characters? The reader then looks up that unique string on a database and then takes action based on the database results.
  3. we are going to use pcounter.
  4. We also are looking at having a Paxton system installed. We are also having new photocopier's installed and we are going to use contact-less cards. We would like to use the Cards for both systems copiers and doors but i am unsure if this is possible. Any info would be great.
  5. Hello. I require some help with getting/Finding some posters for Our ICT rooms. I am trying to update the look by re painting, creating some nice displays and hopefully some nice posters. I have had a good Google but the only decent posters I can find are the ICT pack on the daydream website. At £170 they are a bit pricey but if I cant find anything else they will well have to do. We have the facility's to print up to A3 size but could go bigger if places like Tesco can print that size. Any thing you know of free or paid for would be great. Thanks

  10. is it worth setting it up just to update adobe reader and flash?
  11. Got 30 updates according to out WSUS. Going to wait a day or 2 don't want any issues looking forward to 2 weeks off
  12. Cant see the warranty being a big issue tbh wont be on 24/7. As for power we are getting fairly modern LCD's Samsung LE46C530 so should be fine.
  13. Iv decided to go with LCD (get more for the money) Probably Samsung or LG
  14. Hey All The school I work at has managed to get some money to buy some new displays for the dining hall. Currently we have 1x 32" lcd (cheap make) and 2x 19" lcds (cheap make) these are displaying power points atm but we have a xibo server and clients ready to replace the power points. We are looking at buying some good quality Tv's we have roughly 2k to spend and im looking at buying 2x 46" LCD's for about £700 each. Would it be better to go plasma or even LED? What sort of make or models ? (i have said Samsung, LG or any big name manufactures) Will be using VGA to connect them up to start with but Looking to move to HDMI later on for the quality and sound. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks Steve
  15. My School have just bought it in (secondary school) any info you have to share would be great Thanks
