Still get a lot of good feedback for Plusnet as well as the likes of Zen Internet. Not heard too much about bonded lines as yet - interested to know what's involved in that too.

Two approaches, back in the day we used to do it with 2 usb modems and a linux box but there's dual wan routers in production that can do it.

 

Plusnet didn't appear at the end of last year to support it but they were trialing it as can be found in this thread.

 

I am aware of some ISPs which still offer it but it tends to be more upmarket than your average home user especially with ADSL2+ on the cards giving far superior speeds without the added expense.

Tech support, complaints and customer service are all ignoring my emails and calls now.

 

The ADSL is down and has been since Sunday evening.

 

Not best pleased right now!

SamKnows is showing the OP exchange will be 21CN (WBC) early next year:-

 

"21CN WBC status: RFS date set : 31/03/2010"

 

That will then open up the number of 24meg operators whos use the BT adsl2+ service. Till then he's stuck with either 8meg or a providor at his exchange that has LLU and offers 16 or 24 meg. Only Sky and bulldog currently offer that and bulldog is a tiscali company!
