karldenton Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Another newbie question !! Is there a way to have a module appear on JUST the public home page and when staff login it not be there? I've found the public/registered publish settings but would like public only? Thanks
karldenton Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 Anyone know if this is possible? I would like to have a module not appear on the home page once a user has logged in. IE Public users only and not registered.
daboroe Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 create it as a public and that is it. you should be able to allow only public personnel to see it. thanks
karldenton Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 No, it allows registered users to view it too
mossj Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 (edited) I believe there is a extention that does this... if you go to Home - Joomla! Extensions Directory, you should be able to find it! P.S found it - http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-&-security/frontend-access-control/2252/details (although thats a commercial one) or maybe this http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-&-security/backend-&-full-access-control/7010/details (free) but you get the idea...
