Job Evaluation - Wigan Area - Stage 1 review

Just received the result of my Stage 1 review for my job evaluation and to say I'm livid is an understatement.

 

To cut a long story short, they think that a reasonable salary for a "Systems Manager", as they call me, is just over £19K. This drops me down about £5K from what I'm currently on.

It appears that they've completely ignored everything I highlighted on my appeal. They've told me that it's a valid point but not enough to alter what they originally proposed.

 

Just downloaded the Stage 2 review form and I'll be filling it out... using my 2 A4 pages to the max.

 

I can't work today. I'm just so fuming. :censored::mad:

Thats bad news - the only person that can help you is your head - they have the power to fight for the extra pay for extra responsibilities. Have you actually had a copy of your job description? Is is significantly less?

 

Undergoing job evaluation here too - no idea what scale I will be put on.
