VLEExport Tool will not run

We use the VLE Export tool to export our SIMS data to Fronter. We've had a problem since Friday where the task would not stop running when it had finished. I deleted the task and re-created it. Now, whenever it attempts to run it generates an error in the Application log saying:

 

Another instance of VLEExport is already running.

 

Nothing is shown under processes in Task Manager, i've rebooted the server and still it insists that another instance is already running.

Might be worth re-running s:\setups\SIMSSQLApplicationSetup.exe

Log into SIMS then:-

Routines->Data Out->VLE->Maintain Export History Log

and select Reset Export

better late than never! Actually I was looking for a solution to the problem myself, found your post via google, and then later on remembered the solution, and though it might be worth posting the reply in case anyone else finds the post via google
