VoIP Payphone

Have any of your who have gone to VoIP got a Payphone at school?

 

Were in the installing phase, and i bought a LinkSYS PAP2T Converter box so i can connect our BT Coutour 50 Payphone up. I get no dial tone.

 

Same converter works fine with other phones, i'm pulling my hair out with it.

 

So any ideas on either what to change on the Linksys box, or a VoIP Payphone? I am struggling to find one.

Not had any problem with the PAP2 and our faxes.

Is it one of those odd payphones where you can hear but not speak? Would be worth ringing BT tech support?!?!
