Smoothwall Firewall down help!

After a power outage our smoothwall corporate firewall box won't load up - this is the link between admin and curriculum so is causing major problems.

 

Get dev/hardisk3 contains a file system with errors - check forced.

then get unexpected inconsistency and says run fsck manually - tried that but no joy.

Not really too sure about linux commands.

Is there anything i can do to repair or do i have to reinstall and try and remember configuration?

How do i reinstall - get a cd and boot from usb cd drive as there is no cd drive built in?

Sounds like your disk is deceased - power surges have a tendency to do this!

 

Support may be able to help rescue backups if you've not taken one recently.

spoken to smoothwall support and they are going to give me link for reinstallation as repair did not work.

Just hope i can remember settings!
