Att Mobile phone ninjas

All of the applications on my Sony Erricson w715 phone have stopped working, Google Maps was working fine yesterday but today it just won't launch, I tried some of the other apps but they don't launch either. I'm thinking it could be something to do with jave but i'm not certain. The rest of the phone works fine I can still get on the internet and the software updater says that it's still on the latest version.

 

Any ideas other than a factory reset?

Oddly enough my mate had the same problem the other week, unfortunatly i never really looked into the problem and just told him to give it a factory reset.. he said it solved the problem.

 

Was kind of busy at the time, so didn't really look for another way around it. sorry

Are the apps installed on the phone memory or on a memory card? What happens if you take the card out?

They're all apps that came pre installed on the phone.

The 'Master Reset' function didn't work so I downloaded the update software from Sony and flashed the phone and it seems ok now.

Owell suppose not everything is so simple, glad you got it sorted though.

As it was on the latest version I just flashed it with the same version, so lets hope the bug isn't going to reoccur. At least it wasn't hardware though.
