How do you create a mandatory profile on a network?

Hi

I'm trying to create a mandatory profile on a new server using windows server 2003. I have managed to actually create the Profile but I'm having trouble in preventing items (software shortcuts) in the all users profile appering in the profile I have created.

group policy will do this for you.

user configuration ==> administrative templates ==> start menu and task bar ==> change the option for remove common program groups from start menu and that should do the trick for you.
