  1. Hi there I have got an issue where I'm trying to install an HP LaserJet p2035 driver on a Printer server (Windows server 2003). This printer is connected to the server via a USB HP JetDirect Box. I'm trying to install it on the server using a TCP/IP network port. The issue currently stands that when I do this an error message appears stating spoolsv. application error. This message appears on any account on the network except for administrator accounts. If any one has come across this issue before or has any ideas that they could suggest then that would be greatly appreiated.
  2. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea on how to change the path of my documents from c:\documents and settings\hig\my documents to a users home drive on the server.
  3. I would very much appreiate it if anyone knows where to locate the group policies (and what there actual names are) to prohibit right cliking on the Desktop and also double clicking on programs within the start menu that brings up C:\Documents and Settings\user\Start Menu\Programs . I have looked at Virtually all the Group policies and have not been able to find anything that suggests that it can be done. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Hi I 'm trying to disable users to be able to right click on the desktop and desktop icons. I have looked through group polcies but have'nt found anything that suggests it will do that.
  5. Hi Well I want to try and find if there is a way of stop a user (on a network) from opening the folder C:\Documents and Settings\User name\Start Menu\Programs e.g.(C:\Documents and Settings\Student\Start Menu\Programs) when they double click on programs within the start menu.
  6. How to restriced right click on PC How to prevent double click on programs inthe start menu list (whitch opens C: documents & settings\student\start menu\progams)
  7. Hi I'm trying to create a mandatory profile on a new server using windows server 2003. I have managed to actually create the Profile but I'm having trouble in preventing items (software shortcuts) in the all users profile appering in the profile I have created.
