Fontayne56 Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 We are having a few problems with large prints failing to these printers. We have some DDR2 256 meg loaptop ram kicking around. Has anyone tried upgrading the printer Ram Did It Work? Do you know if these modules are the same as the latop Ram Any advise would be helpfull. Many Thanks
DevilsAdvocate Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Pretty sure I tried to upgrade the RAM in these only to find nothing we had would fit. Uses 144 Pin DDR2. Expensive too!
WStore_Dan Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 You want this If you dont fancy paying £500 (!!!) for a stick of RAM then we have the Kingston alternative (KTH-LJ2015/256) available for £8 plus delivery Hope this helps
Fontayne56 Posted April 1, 2009 Author Posted April 1, 2009 Has anyone done this ?? does it make a difference !
Oops_my_bad Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Adding memory to these things is a bit overkill isn't it!? Are you sure it's not your print server (if you're using one)? Have you tried printing a large file directy to the printer IP?
