Having a bit of a headache trying to setup Quota's for the students on a new server we have (2003 R2 Sp2) Im using the File Resource Manager to setup the quota's but there simply not working... Can anybody explain to me how it works in R2 because...i thought the new quotaing system in R2 meant you didnt need to set it in the volume properties? or am i not understanding it right? originofsymmetry Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 The user must have Full Control over their resepective home folders I believe. I'm pretty sure they also need to be the Owner of the home folder too. though not too sure asit's been a while since I;ve set this up.

You use the console to set the quota and then that's it.

Sadly Not for me :'( The console reports the quota space used by the students but when i log on as a kid i dont get the pie chart as there quota jst the entire disk... Confusing or what!!!
