firefox_2006 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Hello I am using the axe_rescheek_red template to redesign our school website. I have created a "parents" section on the site with a Parents sub-menu on the right hand side. Basically what I am trying to do is create links in this sub menu to policies and other documents, but I cannot get it to work. The default link editor has no "browse" function for me to be able to browse to the file I want to link to. My question is how the bloody hell do you do it? link to site: www.joomla.netherstowe.com firefox_2006
rob_coles Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Are you using any document management? We are using docman which is very good. DOCman - Joomla! Extensions Directory
rush_tech Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I use JCE Editor you need to download the Admin component and the Editor plugin. Then change your editor in Global config. It allows you to browse files, articles etc to link to them a lot easier than typing in the full path to the document
