Hmmmm F-Secure Spam Box

My Network Manager has rather stratigicly plonked a F-Secure Spam box (Rack mount) on my desk and said "Here you go a challenge for you" I.E a round about way of saying I don't know whats wrong with it.

 

Now not knowing anything about this, even after several searches, I'm royally stuck. All I have learnt is that we phoned F-Secure and they don't support it anymore and we have to buy a new one.

 

So was wondering if any of you have any experiance with F-secure, or perhaps with a open source spam solution.

 

When I boot up the F-secure box it starts its checks then Fails time server synching, and then hangs on the next but one test which is Starting PPS.

 

Rebuilding it into a diffrent spam box is a option, as I don't think F-Secure will be getting there renewal monies this year...

 

P.S our mail server is exchange 2003 and the fsecure box did sit inbetween that and the big blue (www)

typing "start" then typing "burn motherf*cker burnnnn" (<- you must include this bit) in seems to have booted it up...
