I plan to install smartbaord software version 10 with GPO.

I'd like 2 policys.

Policy one will install program and drivers for those classrooms that have boards and another policy for room that are used to plan lessons but have no board attached. This policy will not have drivers installed.

If i push out to a pc with no board the connection wizard will ask i we want to search for a board.

I want a way to be able to turn this off.

Can this be done with ORGA to modify the msi?

I know there is a software only install, how ever this won't let us point to gallery content on the network.

We found that installing it on a PC with or without a board attached wasnt a problem. Run it once, then in the options turn off the connection thing that shows up at the start. That way the teachers can do there work with or without a board.

I want to turn off automatically. I have 40 whiteboards and dont want to go round all of them removing the options.

I'm pushing out with GPO.

There must be an option in orca to turn this popup off.

You will need to extract 2 msi's

One for the full install.

Another for the notebook software for the machines used for planning. - this wont have the wizzard on

Since smartboard 10 there are 3 parts to smartboard ddeploy (and a program to customise the msi's). If all you want is noptebook/clipart use the smart install manager to create an mst file for notebook that adds/point to the clipart. Dont install the drivers msi then the "do you want to look for a smartboard" message box at logon will not appear
