witch Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Can anyone recommend a cheapish but fairly robust headphone with mic please? Not great big padded things but fairly slim. We have some Hi-Tex that we like but cannot get hold of anymore -they have solid plastic bodies with no trailing wires. Thanks
laserblazer Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I found even reasonably expensive booms were broken for a pasttime. As the requirement for speech is fairly limited here, I got some of these PRO SIGNAL|MP33750|MICROPHONE, LAVALIER BEIGE | CPC for when they do need them.

We don't suffer too badly with damage here and we do need mics for a podcasting program called podium

MattCowen Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 On a similar subject so not really hijacking but can anyone recommend the most durable headphones they have manageed to source. I'd be looking for something with anti chew devices and non removable padding but I suppose thats not going to happen.

Even if you were to get such headphones the weak point is likely to be the cable.
