Can someone please tell me the cost to sit the IT exams? Not the cost to be trained, but the cost for the actually exam. I need cost for:

  • Linux+
  • MCP
  • MCSE
  • MCSA
  • CCNA
  • CCNP
  • VMware

Thanks!

MCP is £88

MCSA is 4 exams at £88 each so £352

MCSE is 7 exams at £88 each so £616

You can get various discounts on Microsoft exams included with books etc but £88 is full price, there are also some Academic exams you can get that are cheaper but never used academic exams

You can sign up and create an account on PearsonVue, Prometric and Certiport and then find all the exam costs there. Plus when you're ready you can book the exam with them :)

Hope that helps

VMware VCP test is only about £150

However, you wont get the cert unless you've attended a VMware course, by a VMware traininer.

I think the cheapest course is £1950 and takes 4-5 days....

No effing way! I got a cbtnuggets cd video in esx 3.5 and that covers all about vmware. So I have to attend a in-class training before im allowed to take the exam?
