JJonas Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 This is a question from our media tech... We recorded some video through a focus firestore hard drive recorder as avi type 1 and it plays perfectly in windows media player but when imported into premiere it runs at double speed and is no longer wide screen. any ideas? help!
Fontayne56 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 When you start the new project make sure you have setup your project video to wide screen. Off the top of my head i cant remember how this is done but its in the the project settings when you create a new project As for the video running fast *!!$$ ?? Hope this helps Ryan
laserblazer Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I suspect the running fast may be a frame rate issue. It's not NTSC is it?
JJonas Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 Thanks. It was to do with it being a type 1 avi. it needed to be a type 2. I downloaded a bit of software called DVdate which has a convert option. used it to covert one of the files and it is playing fine now.
