Is there a way to see WHO may have accessed a file on a network drive? If you know any utilities doing it will be great!

This is very easy to achieve with the auditing capabilities of Windows server - however, it's something to be set up in advance, not after the fact... If you haven't already turned on auditing for the file/directory, I don't know of any easy way to find out which accounts may have accessed it.

Just a stab in the dark.

 

Look through the roaming profile area for the "Recent" folders.

 

Have they left the link in there?
