AP's with rogue AP detection

We’ve got a number of 3Com 7760 AP’s and I see on the configuration screen that it has a page for rogue AP detection. When I click detect it finds our other Dlink AP’s and classes them as illegal so this begs the question. When setting up an AP with rogue AP detection is there any benefit from adding the existing AP’s to the legal AP MAC address list?

I would add them to stop it trying to murder the "rogue" one with duff packets to help ensure that it won't work, although as its D-Link it probably won't work that well anyway.
