featured_spectre Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 We currently have our ISA server in place, and we believe that our server is aging badly. Now that we have some extra funding, we wont be switching over to linux (as is my understanding) so as such, sticking with Windows. So aside from our ISA server which is touch and go at best, can you guys suggest a good filtering system that can do the following. Import filters from ISA Server Allow us to add websites adhoc Allow us to set specific groups (basically different filters for different year groups) which would take its info from Active Directory. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

featured_spectre Posted March 1, 2009 Author Posted March 1, 2009 Honestly no I havent. I am unable to run trials at the minute as we are in the process of moving the entire ICT department to another area of the school so its more secure. But I am open to ALL options.
FN-GM Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I can recommend websense. If you fix your ISA it will sit on top of that and filter away. You can't import all the rules but you can leave them in if you use the same install. If you choose to make a new install of ISA you can export them out of your old setup into your new one. Z
featured_spectre Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 bump? Anyone else have any suggestions?
