Earthling Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Hiya, there doesn't seem to be a separate forum for Exchange so I'll post this in here and you admins can move it to wherever is most appropriate. I'm creating a year 11 address list in Exchange 2003 (Standard), I go through the creation process, set a filter, do the search, find all the year 11 users I want to include in this list, Click OK, Click Finish (As recommended by a reputable Exchange FAQ's website)..................and nada. Open the Year 11 Address List (which now appears in Outlook everywhere) and it's empty, nothing, zilch......not a sausage. Anyone got any ideas? Am I actually doing wrong following the instructions on MS Technet?
riskyburden Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 If I remember, the address lists appear in AD so you have to make sure that the pupils user has read permissions on the object.
Earthling Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 Thanks for that, but all the permissions are correct. Maybe I didn't explain myself properly....The list is created but, after creation, it's empty. When I do a Preview of the list, I'm told that 'No items match the current search'. I've tried creating the list on two different fields, alias and e-mail address with the same result. When I'm creating the list, the filter I've used correctly filters, and displays, the required Year 11 users, but once the list is created, it's empty.
