Very Odd WDS Error

Windows 2003 - WDS

 

Have it setup so that New PCs are added to the Pending Devices container in WDS

 

PC boots fine, and stops as it should

 

I go to the WDS server (also has DHCP and the relevant options enabled) drill down to Pending Devices - refresh it and I get the attached error...

 

Quick google yeilds no information Nor does the event log

 

Tried restarting WDS - no avail

This has worked fine before - why not now

 

Only way round this is to manually prestage the PC in AD with the GUID/UUID - fine for now as only a small number of PCs, but very shortly I am going to have 60+ PCs to image - and i really dont want to manually prestage them!!

Try restarting the full server. It's a really stupid .net related error message that one. Get it quite often on some of our 2k8 servers (not specifically wds that i can remember), only a full server reboot seems to fix it.

Thanks - will reboot the server later tonight once I know its not gonna be used....

Well the reboot has not solved the issue

Looking like I'll need to move WDS to a new server and try again
