Now I have Zimbra up and running what can I do with it?

Wahay, I have zimbra running but now I need to work out what to do with it apart from email.

Can anyone let me know what else they use?

Shared documents, shared calendars?

 

I just want to show the SMT that it is a better alternative to our current online email but want to push the other aspects and learn more about them.

We share our contacts and calendar out and are looking to use the document store for daily bulletins/etc.

There's instant messaging in there too if your that way inclined.

Mainly, staff have shared addresses with distribution lists and shared calendar. Several have tasks, and I use the documents/briefcase occasionally.

 

We also host the local community sports partnership and they all use instant messaging - though we are waiting until friend lists become scriptable until we roll this out to all of our own staff - I can envisage our lot fainting at the prospect of adding and accepting all the other staff.

The web interface for mobile devices is rather cool too! There's also a rather nifty J2ME client for mobile phones that works really well (similar to the one for Gmail).
