diagram Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 It is hard to get LCD flat screens now that have 1024*768 resolution. The entry level now seems to be 1024*1280. This means there is a mismatch with all the projectors that are 1024*768. Do you know of a source of 1024*768 LCD screens? Diagram
PeterW Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 That would be a 15" screen that has a native resolution of 1024x768. You can just use a 17" or 19" 4:3 screen that does 1280x1024 native it will scale a 1024x768 resolution to fit the screen.
Guest Guest Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Ive found teh newer projectors handle downscaling alot better than they used to. The only other method of getting a decent image is to scrap your splitter boxes and use dual displays - ive been trying to implement this one for ages as scaled resolutions drive me mad. Otherwise you're stuck with 1024 on a 17'' monitor which is readable, but still looks terrible.
