When 'Managed Service' just isn't....

Does anyone have a copy of the contract easynet has with secondary schools in the UK?

 

Just taking over as network manager at a school on the NGFL and there's an easynet connection that is supposedly managed, but they "charge" you extortionate rates for opening ports / connections to servers. So much so the previous manager ended up using an external hosting company to get the website up....doesn't hold much hope for this 2010 target for delivering grades and info to parents!

 

I want to know exactly what was supposed to be delivered as part of this service so I know where I stand as regards payments... LEA is doing the usual pass the buck routine with me...

We have easynet through our council and don't have to pay to get ports and things open.
