Hey All

I don't suppose anyone knows how office 2003 tab delimits its tables if you pasted them into notepad etc? Office 2000 smegs them up something awful, like so:

PERIOD 1 PERIOD 2 PERIOD 3 PERIOD 4 PERIOD 5

Mrs VernonY12 ArtB3 to B2 Mrs VernonY12 ArtB3 to B2 Mrs VernonY12 ArtB3 to B2 Miss BoothY13 SociologyB3 to G17

so it totally breaks if theres a newline inside the cell itself. Does Office 2003 have this problem too?

Thanks

A word table like this:

http://www.hglan.com/Norphy/word%20table.jpg

Gives you this in Notepad

Cell 1	Cell 2	Cell 3	Cell 4	Cell 5
Row 2	A
Second line	b	c	d
Row 3	e	f	g	h
Row 4	i	j	k	l

So I'd say yes, it does.

ahh thats much better though, 2000 just ignores newlines inside cells and concatenates one line to the next :| at least 2003 is a bit more sensible

Cheers for that
