Please Help! Site Down!

S.O.S! Please help! I was due to imminently launch my site and now it's gone down. Was trying to alter width of image in module and think I accidentally altered module width. Webpage displayed strangely at first and now simply refuses to connect through either front or backend. What the hell have I done and more importantly CAN I repair the damage? Please help I'm at my wits end.

I know its very unlikley and i am no expert, but are the SQL Services started? as its saying it cant connect to database so thats all that springs to mind, as i doubt you would of changed any passwords/permissions for the database itself.

 

Just a thought.

No the site was already technically up and live (I just hadn't given anyone at my school the url yet). So database was started I'm assuming. It's something that I did that's stopped it functioning rather than something I've done that means it won't start in the first instance

I contacted support at my webhosts and they response was:

 

"You've lost your database connection, try reinstalling the module."

 

The trouble is I don't know how to reinstall the module unless I can actually get into the site. Any suggestions??

FTP into your site and check the details in your configuration.php file as sysman says.

 

You should also be able to log into your hosts panel and check your database details using phpmyadmin. If you can't use phpmyadmin (or your hosts own database management system) it will confirm a mysql issue with your host.
