Dos_Box Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Just a quick question about TS (I don't use it). Does USB work at the local workstation (terminal), and are there any other restrictions\problems which would affect a school should they choose to use it as their sole method of computer useage?
ChrisH Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 If you tick bring local devices > Disk drives and test this with a USB drive and connecting to another machine you will see it in my computer on the remote session. You would have to set a policy on this though to stop it showing them all.
CyberNerd Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 can't speak specifically about RDP -but in Citrix TS USB is well supported. Printers/scanners and USB disks (cameras etc) are fine - more exotic hardware generally doesn't work.

ChrisH Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 This is the kind of thing you will end up under other drives if the local machine has a lot of mapped/local drives as well so it could be potentially unfriendly.
