Anyone tried virtualising Sims Learning Gateway?

Hi All,

 

Just wondering if anyone has tried/currently use Sims Learning Gateway on a virtual server.

 

I'm currently in the process of virtualising as many servers as possible, with a view to virtual Learning gateway when the new physical server arrives hopefully next week.

We have a virtual test system running SLG and Sharepoint, running fine with no issues

I've seen it done a few times. There are certain problems which can arise (most common one I've come across is to do with not having static IP addresses set), but other than that its no different from any other installation.
