Hi Guys,

We have recently moved over to exchange 2007 and have the new OWA that goes with it.

The Children have realised that they can access their email through OWA when in the college as their email is usually blocked by netop when they are in lessons.

Having come to the conclusion that they have outlook on all PC's, they won't need OWA within the college, so have tried to block it through our RM filter. This has not stopped it at all, I have tried every URL the OWA is kicking up but can't seem to block it. I am assuming that it is because you can't specify https:// through the RM filter.

Any ideas? (Apart from ditching RM ;))

Hi Matt,

Would that not disable OWA altogether for each user? I would still have to let them gain access externally, just not in the college.

I'd assume you can't block it by proxy as it will be offsite and your OWA is local - assuming *nobody* needs OWA access while onsite, you could set a deny rule on your local IP range in the IIS manager for that section of the website?
