beeswax Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 The title says it all really. Where can I find the tag relating to the width of the horizontal menu container to stop items dropping down a line?
beeswax Posted January 26, 2009 Author Posted January 26, 2009 Thanks. That's where I was going wrong then. I was increasing .headerbg22, but not compensating by reducing .headerbg21.
lightinthedark Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 If you wanted to move away from fixed width things and take account of the fact that some users may browse with an increased font size which would break your fixed width boxes, you may find the white-space: nowrap property as detailed at CSS White-space Property handy. Hello :-Dave last time i saw this in css it wouldn't validate with the latest standards, never figured out why, I just deleted it as i'd rather the layout be iffy when text is sized up than it disappearing off the edge of the containers.
