dsk Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Firstly hello all! Im pretty sure ive searched quite well for this, on here and moodle, but sometimes you do miss the odd thing. I quite like the fact that moodle has discussion forums built in, but at my school they are very into their anti ebullying policy, so we need some more restrictions. What i was wondering is that is there a way to have posted items set to an unapproved mode initially untill approved by a moderator (teacher) before being visible to the whole class? Ive been looking for a mod, but perhaps im searching for the wrong thing. Any help/advice would be appreciated! Ta!
Edu-IT Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 From what I can see it's not possible to do this although it's a requested feature. [#MDL-3330] Forums: Add field for Teacher to approve post - Moodle Tracker 1
dsk Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 Hey, thanks for the reply! I suppose i will have to wait or possibly add a separate forum to allow discussions?
danIT Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Perhaps you could hack the glossary module, i know that allows additions to be aproved before they are submited (I think).
