Calculating Server Energy Usage

Anyone know of a site or utility for calculating Wattage from servers a bit like the energy star website's?

if the server is running off a standard 13A socket (or could temporarily be setup like that) then it's probably easier to just measure its consumption - any kind of estimates will be just that and could be miles out (depending on what your server actually does)

 

Maplin have power meters starting from a tenner.

Errm, unless you mean something else... look on the pack of the server's power supply... peak wattage is there. (Aka, 500w PSU's etc)

Are they HP servers?

If so HP have a calculator that will tell you the power loadings.

 

If not one of the power meters SRochford metioned will do the trick.

 

According to my UPS my server room is only pulling 10.7amps!
