Can not use some features on the "dashboard" when editing articles.

When i click on things like insert smileys, insert image and icons to the like i get a blank box.

 

I have included a screenie to show you what i mean..

 

I have tried re-uploading with no success.

Yes, I had this issue with all pop up windows when editing. It occurred because I set up the back end to run over ssl and the pop up boxes, and you can see from your screen shot, are called via http, not https. I ended up altering the code for the editor to call windows via https. I hope that this helps............

I will give that ago. I have just got FCKeditor so im going to give that a go before i get my hands messy!
