MWakefield Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 (edited) This new package is absolutely brilliant, much improved over the original. However, I do have one minor issue and hope there is some wisdom on this out there. When a user proceeds to edit any of the front page center articles using any Windows version of IE, Mozilla, etc., the editor window expands beyond the center column width and a few tool buttons wind up underneath the advert 1, advert 2, etc. graphics. On the Mac browsers (safari, firefox), the "cancel" button becomes inaccessible. This is not a major issue, but it is disconcerting for casual users, and makes it a little hard to see layout as they go. Any way to set the editor window within a fixed width? Thanks for any advice. SimpleSi Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 This happens with a lot of templates and one workaround is to not edit the article on the frontpage but to find it via a menu. It then tends to be on a page with less clutter and is easier to edit. regards Simon 1
MWakefield Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 Thanks! That is certainly a perfectly good workaround, and I had thought of that as well; just one more "training" step for some of my users I was hoping to avoid.
