Mike here, tech director for small school district in N. Central MA. Been in the ed tech biz in one way or another for nearly 35 years; have seen a lot changes in that time, to say the least. Delighted to be here, very grateful for the resource, making great use of the edugeek joomla template as we re-develop our district web sites. Hoping to go live with the new sites shortly, following the KISS principle as much as possible! The technology is the easy part; getting the right people to agree on content - not so much.

Thanks! That is certainly a perfectly good workaround, and I had thought of that as well; just one more "training" step for some of my users I was hoping to avoid.

This new package is absolutely brilliant, much improved over the original. However, I do have one minor issue and hope there is some wisdom on this out there. When a user proceeds to edit any of the front page center articles using any Windows version of IE, Mozilla, etc., the editor window expands beyond the center column width and a few tool buttons wind up underneath the advert 1, advert 2, etc. graphics. On the Mac browsers (safari, firefox), the "cancel" button becomes inaccessible. This is not a major issue, but it is disconcerting for casual users, and makes it a little hard to see layout as they go. Any way to set the editor window within a fixed width? Thanks for any advice.

Nothing like a dose of greed to ruin a good thing for all, especially for schools that are struggling as it is. Seems like there should be some way to "qualify" legit users.
