We have a server 2008 domain so I think it has something to do with Shutdownertron being an interactive service which 2008 disallows. Ideas?

As far as I know, Server 2008 shouldn't be a problem as the server just handles policy, pushed out in the normal way. The problem with interactive services is currently on Vista clients, I'm working on a fix for this but it should still allow you to run the client, it's just a bit ugly.

On the clients, Shutdownertron logs lots of stuff to the event log, so have a look in there and let me know what you see. I don't, unfortunately, have any 2008 machines to test against, so I'm afraid you're going to be a guinea pig :)
