VPN / Firewall

We've just purchased a Cisco 857 router from our ISP, which is VPN enabled. They are trying to sell us a managed firewall, which keeps everything secure when we're transferred to public IP address and also provides a login interface for the VPN.

However, is there any other solutions out there that do VPN interface and firewall? Was looking at Ranger Outpost but not sure if its firewall. We don't have ISA btw.
