Hightower Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Ok, who can guess who has a nice fresh install of Moodle and is playing about with it? This is after all my 500th post for Moodle alone this week I've just tried creating a SCORM package (tried 1.2 and 2004) with software called CourseLab. When I go to upload it says it cannot find the Manifest - even though it is there in the root where it should be. Ok, maybe it's the CourseLab stuff so I downloaded a known working package (known to work on other peoples installs) and tried that only to get the same error. I've been to Moodle and can't find anything to help me - anybody come across this before and know what it is?
secretlife Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 To start with, this earlier posting might be of help: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/virtual-learning-platforms/5219-moodle-scorm.htmlIf not - there is stuff on moodle.org I'll try to find for you. 1
Hightower Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 How could I have missed that?! Didn't show up in my search before I posted though. Thanks, will give it a read and post back here.
Hightower Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 Just an update to how I fixed the problem. In server paths I had set the zip and unzip paths. Just deleted these, left them blank and saved and it works a treat now.
TechMonkey Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 When you say server paths is this in the SCORM setup/manifest file or actually in Moodle. If it is the SCORM file, that could be what is wrong with the Skoool files.

I now have working packages that mark scores and everything, but after I close the SCORM (after completing) it says within Moodle that the quiz is incomplete! I want it to say something along the lines of "this quiz has been completed" ARGHHHHHHH
danIT Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I think its the SCORM module that decides when the activity is complete, I know Moodle doesnt really have full SCORM support for all the factors of the SCORM packages.
