SIMS Help Needed

Ok our office manager has retired who dealt with all the SIMS data input and solved minor problems. The deputy head who is the timetabler is off sick so I am left with a problem.

 

For some reason our year 9 pupils are not allocated to lessons for some periods. I presume the deputy head uploaded or merged data from nova T and screwed the year 9 timetables up.

 

What should I be looking at to rectify this problem, I am relatively new to SIMS.

My best advice would be to contact your support centre and get them to remote in and have a look. If you are new to SIMS/Nova timetabling is definitely not straightforward and you can easily cause more damage than you could imagine.

There is an issue with the Nov release, make sure you on the latest version

If you end up doing this more long time I would look at getting either a lot of training or getting a 3rd party in, I believe SpecialAgent does this?

It would also be worthwhile making sure you have a SupportNet account, there are a lot of helpful people on the forums there and some handy documentation.
