how to recover power on password

Its nothing to do with Windows so will need more info like make of computer, laptop or desktop?

 

If its a desktop open the side take the CMOS battery out for a minute. Looks like a watch battery. Put it back in once you have done that you will need to re enter your time.

Well it could be a BIOS password, a HDD password, even a boot manager password.
