You and I, and most here, know linux has many benifits - but try explaining that to people who have no tech grounding.

 

I'm not saying that you shouldn't try, and If you're lucky enough to have an SLT that will back you then go for it.

 

The first two years at my last place we had full backing, and made great progress - then leadership changed hands and all that fell to bits. putting the kibosh on my VLE and Joomla plans :-(
