jamesb Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Just looking for wishes of good luck, and any advice that people may have. Got two exams tomorrow to (hopefully) update my qualifications and the nerves are just starting to set in.
goaliepride Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 You'll kill em! Just remember to keep calm and you will do great! Don't get discouraged by questions that seem like they're from left field and weren't on the exam prep, they're usually feeler questions thrown in there to test what someone who is at the point to take that test knows about another subject (example, fire extinguisher type questions on the A+ exam!) and they are not counted.
elsiegee40 Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Good luck jamesb! Rotten timing just before Christmas, but at least it'll be over and done with... I agree with witch - I was taught "Read the question... and then read it again before you start to answer!"
Kitkatninja Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Good luck for the exams, which exams are you taking? -ken

jamesb Posted December 11, 2008 Author Posted December 11, 2008 I'm taking a couple of Microsoft exams, about two and a half hours each which'll make tomorrow a fun, fun day. Thanks everyone.
jamesb Posted December 12, 2008 Author Posted December 12, 2008 Thanks to everyone who wished me good luck. Just to let you know I passed both exams, the second by a slightly narrower margin than the first, and now have a whole new string of letters to play with. Thanks again.
jamesb Posted December 12, 2008 Author Posted December 12, 2008 Well Done. What was it for? Upgrading my MCSE to three MCTSes, then going for the MCITP: EA thingie.
