firefox_2006 Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Hi I need help connecting our plasma screen in the school hall so that i can run a powerpoint through a laptop. There is a splitter box in the cabinet and as far as i can tell, everything is as it should be, but I cant get the laptop to display on the two plasma's in the hall. The "source" should be from the laptop and the "outputs" should be the plasma's correct? I think staff want some sort of low budget digital signage solution, rather than the current one (freeview box and TMF). I will try a different splitter box, but as I say I cant get any signal to display on the plasma's at all. Has anyone else done this? Am I missing something REALLY obvious lol thanks firefox_2006

pagelad Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 I don't know if your plasma is the same as mine but my home one had its AV channel shared with something else. I had to go into the options and set the AV channel (in my case AV4) to be expecting input from an RGB DSUB cable. Look in the options on your tv and see if you have something similar?
