Backup Tape problem: The drive is not present in the library

Hi Guys,

 

Still struggling with my backup problem. (Have now invested in an external USb HD and have backed up the data)

 

Under removable devices in windows server 2003 I have a red cross on my tape drive with the message in properties of "The drive is not present in the library"

 

Any ideas about this as I can't find reference to it anywear on the wenb

Have you tried a reboot... often fixes these problems!

 

Also try rescanning the SCSI bus.
