Updating Fronter

Has any one got their SIMS and Fronter installations talking to each other e.g. using IMS or do you just use text files to update users and classes?

We have it working here fine. Have you contacted their tech support I've found talking to Karl Walker can normally sort it out.

Working OK here. A scheduled task on the SIMS server runs every night and send updates to Fronter.

Yeah same here, scheduled task on server, sends it at night, talk to Fonter for help on setting it up.

Interesting... OK so this updates the class/group memberships but what about new accounts?

 

Has anyone been really flash and used AD authentication?

if you want to be really flash look into USO (unified sign on) provided by atomwide it allows the same login to access every school service and LGFL service.
